For architecture conversations.
Arrange supported AWS services and follow their connections to explain how the intended system fits together.
What is Cloud Markup?
Cloud Markup is an open-source, AWS-first architecture workspace for architects, platform engineers and developers. Review configuration and relationships in a connected architecture model.
The resources that make up your intended system.
The supported properties and purpose of each resource.
How resources connect and what those connections require.
The checks, warnings, and questions that need review.
From a picture to a model
The canvas represents a structured architecture model. Resources have properties, connections have meaning, and checks report findings against the design.
Arrange supported AWS services and follow their connections to explain how the intended system fits together.
Inspect runtime settings, purpose previews, connection requirements, and validation findings in the same workspace.
Where export is available, use a saved revision as the basis for reviewing CloudFormation output in your own delivery process.
Start with the manual workflow
The current visual tour follows a manually built EventBridge Order Pipeline. It shows a Lambda function connected to an IAM role, an EventBridge event bus, and an SQS queue.
Beta service and workflow coverage varies. AI-assisted creation is being refined; use the manual canvas workflow shown here. Cloud Markup does not deploy resources into your cloud account. Your team reviews output and controls deployment.
